Most Sweaty Yeti Saunas are built to order. The factory build time takes around 60-90 days. Once delivered, they can be installed in just a day.
- Is the sauna durable enough for extreme weather?
Absolutely! The Sweaty Yeti Saunas are engineered to handle all climates, from scorching summers to freezing winters.
- Do I need to prepare the ground?
A stable surface like a concrete or gravel pad is recommended for the best installation results.
- Does the Sweaty Yeti need electricity?
The Sweaty Yeti Sauna and the Sweaty Yeti Sauna Plunge will both require a 240v connection, similar to a hot tub, of 50 amp or 60 amp respectively. Your local electrician can add that connection for you. Our Customer Care agents are at your service to help coordinate this installation.
- I live in an area with a lot of snow. Can the Sweaty Yeti handle it?
The Sweaty Yeti is built to withstand 30 lb snow loads. It can be engineered for your specific snow load as an option. This may require additional expense depending on the snow load for your area.
- Where do you ship the Sweaty Yeti?
The Sweaty Yeti can be shipped nation-wide across the US. We offer delivery and placement of your Sweaty Yeti in the lower 48 states. A personalized delivery and installation quote will be prepared for you. Alaska, Hawaii and Canadian locations will require additional shipping cost.
